To install the program, double click on the package ActiveBrowse09_install.exe and confirm the file extraction. At the end will be started a normal Install-Shield setup program.

Read carefully the license agreement and the readme that can contains latest release information. At the installation end check the run program box and click on the End. button.

The installation ends and the ActiveBrowse program will be started and placed as an icon in your tray.

The program is installed in the registry so it will be started every time you reboot your system.

Right-click on the tray icon to open the contextual-menù of ActiveBrowse. Click on the Configure… command that opens a new window.

Here you can customize the sites that will be opened in the 3x2 tile and in the 2x2 tile. You have to insert the complete URL with or without the "http://" prefix.

In the registered version you can customize all of the window. In the Shareware version some pages are redirected to this site or to our sponsor page. If you want to register your version, go to the buy now page.

After the configuration, you can connect to Internet and click on the Browse Explorer 2x2 or 3x2 command to see the four or six tiled window browsing the suggested web sites.

If you need more control, you can enable the Explorer’s toolbar using the "Show Toolbars" menù command.

To close all the opened Explorers window, use the "Close Explorers" menù command. Note that this command works only on the last "Browse Explorer" menù command, and not on other opened windows.

To close the program simply use the "Shutdown ActiveBrowse" menù command. To restart the program you can use the shortcut in the Start – Programs menù or you can reboot your computer.

Open the control panel, installing application applet and select the ActiveBrowse 0.9 row the click to "Uninstall…" button.

Make sure to uninstall previous versions of ActiveBrowse before install newer versions.
